Latest Fire News
The fire in the church building has done significant damage and a steady stream of people from the Loss Adjusters, to Forensic Investigators and Building Control Officers, have kept us informed of the state of play.  However, Kilmington Baptist Church is alive and flourishing.  We have become a migrant people, not just talking about our journey together, but physically travelling along together as well.  And like the children of Israel, we will find that our journey presents challenges and threats, but also many wonderful opportunities to discover God’s marvellous provision.  So let’s remain close together as we make our journey, let us make extra effort to commit to meeting together, and “all the more as the day approaches”.
I am sure that we will find that these strange circumstances will provide many new  opportunities to be in the community and to include the community in our fellowship.  If you have any suggestions about the future, then please feel free to share those with us, and be prepared also to pray with each other that we may be guided by the Lord every step of the way.

We will keep you informed of progress on the rebuilding, and of locations of our activities and services.
At present, the church members have authorised us to proceed with the development of one particular site in the village.  We are proceeding with all possible haste to set out our requirements for the architect, and a planning application will be made shortly.
